Grant Funding

Grant funding can provide a vital lifeline to charities of all sizes, providing income that can be used to maintain and build charitable organisations by developing and supporting the work that you do.

What are grants?

Grants are funds which support core, capital or project costs of charitable work that aims to meet identified needs. Typically, grant-making bodies are trusts, foundations, or public organisations who wish to address specific social issues.

Grants do not have to be paid back. There is no interest involved and they can be paid to your charity in a lump sum or instalments.

Applying for and securing grant funding can be a great way to diversify and stabilise your charity’s income streams as well as develop key relationships with mainstream bodies and associated support.
