We will be joined by an expert panel including:

Yasrab Shah is Director of Fundraising at Muslim Hands, an NGO established in 1993 that delivers international aid to over 30 countries.

Through his work he has delivered aid in the last couple of years to war-torn Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen, assisted Ukrainian refugees in Poland, monsoon flood survivors in Pakistan and earthquake survivors in Türkiye and northern Syria. He holds a first-class joint honours degree in Arabic and Management at SOAS, University of London.

Dr Ikhlaq Hussain is philanthropy specialist with a PhD in Marketing and Business Strategy. As an award-winning fundraiser and educator, he has raised millions of pounds for good causes and was awarded a fellowship by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising in recognition of his services to the fundraising community. He also teaches at Bayes Business School, Chartered Institute of Fundraising and at University of Chichester.

Rosie Burrells is a Senior Researcher with extensive experience conducting market research for leading UK charities, non-profits and grant-making foundations. At nfpResearch Rosie works primarily on research with the general public, helping charities to understand perceptions of their brand and activities, and public opinion trends more broadly. She also leads on the delivery of a range of bespoke projects, helping clients to craft their communications and audience strategy

Aymen Habib joined the nfpResearch team in 2023, having completed a master’s degree in Globalisation, Business, and Development from the Institute of Development Studies. She works on our general public tracking research for charities, as well as a range of bespoke audience projects, helping our clients to better understand their key stakeholders.
