On Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July 2022, for the first time in British history, temperatures are set to rise to up to 40°C in some parts of the country. An amber weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for the whole of England and Wales, and a red severe weather warning has been issued covering much of the south and centre of England, from London in the south to Manchester and York in the north.

Please read the following Extreme Weather Community Alert and be vigilant for signs of heatstroke and dehydration, particularly for the elderly, children or those with underlying health issues. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 999.
